Felt is SO FUN to work with. (Not that I’ve been doing any illustrations with it, but I have found some inspiration on etsy…) A few months ago I joined a felt food swap with some ladies. We all made 12 copies of a felt food, mailed them off to the organizer, and got a fabulous package back. SO FUN! I think Ella may love them as much as I do!
Pictured: Sugar cookie, carrot, strawberry, short stack, french bread, PB&J, teeny tiny pea pod, spaghetti, and pickle (by moi). LOVE.

Holy cow! That is some cute stuff.

As one of the participants in this felt food swap, I must say: it was a LOT easier than I thought it would be and yes, very fun! The key to participating is to do a little bit every day. I broke down the tasks into little 10 minute projects — then if I had a block of time to watch tv or something, I could do like 4 of the things at once. Time managment is the key.

aak! You have a blog! I popped over to your website to see how you had your portfolio laid out (I’m s-l-o-w-l-y putting mine together) and you had a blog link. yay!
The felt food is adorable and I LOVE the idea of a swap.
